Past Continuous

Внимание! Past Continuous употребляется для выражения длительного действия (процесса), протекавшего в  определенный период времени в прошлом.

1. from … till —  с … до…
2. all day – весь день
3. the whole evening – целый вечер

Present Perfect и Present Perfect Continuous

Present Perfect отвечает на вопрос что уже сделал(а)? 

— I have watched the cartoon this morning.

Present Perfect Continuous отвечает на вопрос что начал делать и) еще делаю? — I have been watching the cartoon for ten minutes.
